Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) is encountered in many processes in various industries. In this course, you will
be presented with information on the properties of H2S, respiratory protective equipment, H2S detection, and response
strategies. This course was developed to help you meet the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code and the
Enform Industry Recommended Practice (IRP) 16. This course is ideal for learners that need to recertify and have already
taken H2S Alive and who do not need the hands-on component to complete their work. Mastery of this Elective course qualifies you for credit towards the
Oilfield Safety Specialist (OSS) certificate. The OSS certificate has been awarded Certification Maintenance Points
(CMP) by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and Registration Maintenance (RM) points by the
Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH). Time Required = 2 hours.
