This course deals with driver fatigue and the Federal Hours of Service Legislation that outlines the responsibilities of the driver and
employer to prevent driver fatigue and dangerous driving conditions. It will also go over the completion of a log book, and describe
driver duty statuses. Upon completion of this course you will be able to: Define the terms of the Hours of Service Legislation, identify
the dangers of fatigue and its effects on the human body, state the rules for drivers, and describe the rules for deferral of off-duty
time. Mastery of this Enrichment course qualifies you for credit towards the Safety Technologist (ST) certificate. The ST certificate
has been awarded Certification Maintenance Points (CMP) by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and Registration
