You are responsible for selecting and using Fall Protection Equipment (FPE) when it is required for your duties. Part 9
of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Code outline regulatory requirements that will help you make informed decisions regarding
FPE. This course teaches the basics of the selection use and care of FPE, the different types of FPE, the elements of a Fall Protection Plan, and
help you meet all regulatory and government requirements including, the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code.
Mastery of this Elective
course qualifies you for credit towards the Safety Specialist (SS) certificate. The SS certificate has been awarded Certification
Maintenance Points (CMP) by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and Registration Maintenance (RM) points by the
