• Transportation of Dangerous Goods
This course was developed in accordance with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and Regulations, published by Transport Canada. You will learn to describe the purpose of the TDG Act and Regulations, and identify responsibilities. The requirements for training and certification, and basic requirements for classification, documentation, safety marks, means of containment, and emergency planning and response are also presented. (Canada-wide) Mastery of this Core course qualifies you for credit towards the Safety Practitioner (SP) certificate. The SP certificate has been awarded Certification Maintenance Points (CMP) by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and Registration Maintenance (RM) points by the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH).
